Rachel March, MSW, LCSW

Rachel March, LCSW recognizes that each client comes to therapy with different life experiences and goals and uses her skills of empathy and kindness to help every client feel comfortable. She prides herself on active listening and creating an affirming, non-judgmental environment with mutual respect to build a strong trusting partnership. That foundation of trust allows clients a safe space to focus on mindfulness, improve their emotional well-being and embrace their authentic selves.

Rachel enjoys working with a variety of ages and backgrounds. Areas of focus include clients who are experiencing chronic illnesses, both newly diagnosed and long-term, as well as caregivers who support those with chronic illnesses. Rachel helps clients explore the connection between emotional and physical health and advocates for the importance of caring for both. She also works with those experiencing grief and loss, challenges in aging, parenting stressors and navigating life’s transitions. 

She earned a master of Social Work from East Carolina University and has experience working in Wilmington, NC, as a healthcare social worker and mental health therapist.
